Holiday Cottages still coming!

Hi all
It seems holiday cottage owners are taking the bull by the horns (or sheep by the tails!) and realising that a Virtual Tour helps sell their property so much better in a very competitive business regardless of the weather, bearing in mind that a lot of visitors book for these times particularly because they enjoy the challenges and natural beauty that nature provides!

We completed 11 cottages last week in the Lake District, despite the snow, and we think that the outside snow scenes combined with the warm, welcoming interiors is a real eye-catcher. Coming back into a cosy, warm cottage after a days walking and outdoor activities is a delight! At the end of the day, virtual tour viewers and prospective customers are surely most concerned with what’s inside the the cottage ie. comfort, facilities, quality and value for money. With a virtual tour they know they are seeing the full picture and can see exactly what they are booking.

We are off to Norfolk this week with another 10 cottages and houses waiting to be done.

We hope that during the Christmas holidays, when people are thinking about their holidays and breaks for 2011, they will enjoy the experience of viewing our Virtual Tours and be confident that what they see is what they get!

More Virtual Tours completed!

Its August, which traditionally has been a quiet time previously, but this year the work seems to keep coming in – which is great!

Two schools, a hotel and two beautiful holiday properties in The Lakes! If you like the Lakes (who doesn’t!) take a look at The Terrace, Windermere and their latest property Oakland Hall, perfect for groups or larger families looking for that somewhere a bit special! Such nice people too!

The schools will be published shortly (watch for little Kiwi!!), you will see what that means when you see the Virtual Tour!

Keep coming back – we hope you find our blog entertaining and informative.

Beautiful Lake District

How lucky Richard is that his job now takes him to some of the most beautiful and picturesque parts of Britain. Having travelled around the world in his former employment, he still reckons the UK offers some of the best scenery to be enjoyed.

Today was Gamblesby, on the northern reaches of Cumbria and the Lake District. Gamblesby is a tranquil, picture postcard Lakes village with its village church, community hall and pub! Idyllic.

Mark and Patricia own Church Court Cottages and provide a lovely base for tourists to start their exploration. Mark has worked all around the world and speaks several languages fluently! He has translated his website into Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish. He is fully behind the marketing value of Virtual Tours and says he is convinced they have impacted on his business.

So now we have got Richard out of the Children’s Adventure Playground (though I know he secretly loved it!) its back to reality! :o)

Virtual Tours in the Wonderful Lake District

Well….. for anyone who is considering visiting the Lake District, we can thoroughly recommend one of the Cottage companies we work with up there.

Lakeland Hideaways are based up in Hawkshead, which apart from being a lovely place in its own right, is a good central base from which to discover the highlights of this spectacular area. They have some fabulous places to stay and can guide the intrepid explorers into the most spectacular locations. Gary and Ruth, along with their staff are all people with an excellent knowledge of what is around and about.

Some of the cottage locations just take your breath away, and Virtual Tours are always a pleasure to undertake in the Lakes.

We are so lucky to live in a land of such diverse beauty and interest. Long may the UK Tourism industry flourish in these times of uncertainty around travel abroad.

  • This morning I received yet another telephone call from a delighted customer. The customer having seen a 360 tour of one of our properties promptly booked stating (about the virtual tour): \"The photography, its presentation and layout was excellent\". He went on to say that after hours of trawling websites looking for his next holiday destination this tour stood out and did far more to secure his booking than any flowery descriptions, still photos or price incentive. Thank you Mr Scutt for your professional service and excellent product. On a more selfish note; Thank you for all the extra business your Virtual Tours bring in.

  • 360 Virtual tours visited my premises to film the tour for my website. The information provided before the visit was clear and precise. The filming was carried out without any interruption to our business in a professional and friendly manner. The final product was better than we had hoped for and after-sales service and advice has also been very good. I would highly recommend the company.

  • Thank you for the virtual tours you have done of our coaches for our website, its really helped to prove to our customers the quality of the coaches and facilities we can offer without the need for them to come and visit.
We have received numerous favourable comment regarding our website and in particular the virtual tours, in the current financial climate it was a small amount of money well spent!!
