As Im sure many of you fellow Virtual Tour Photographers have provided 360 Virtual Tours for Holiday Cottages, Bed and Breakfast, Guesthouses Hotels etc, please take a look at The Virtual Cottage Company.

Someone once said “Having a website and not promoting it through Search Engine Optimisation, is like having a fancy TV Advert produced, without purchasing “air time” – How true is this. So many Holiday Cottage or property owners have a website, but without promoting it, it simply sits there on the web, with few hits.

The Virtual Cottage Company is a directory of UK holiday accommodation providers where EVERY property has a 360 Virtual Tour, thus making it quite unique.
Since starting in March 2011 we have already reached page 1 on Google.

The concept is to help independent owners to get their website and properties greater exposure, and consequently more bookings. With combined Tweets and Facebook posts our cottage owners are now receiving up to 100 viewing per month and in time this will continue to grow.

Whilst at present all the virtual tours have been provided by 360virtual-tours.net it is not exclusive, and we welcome ANY virtual tour providers to invite their clients to advertise their properties on The Virtual Cottage Company. In encouraging your clients to advertise, you will also be in effect advertising your own business for free, and will become a contributing Virtual Tour photographer, listed on a new page on the Virtual Cottage Company of Recommended Virtual Tour photographers.

Bunkhouse Accommodation Virtual Tours

Hi.

As I mentioned in my last posting, we were down in Wales again the other week. I had the opportunity of photographing 3 more Bunkhouses in and around South Wales and The Brecon Beacons.

With all the financial news, doom and gloom merchants and those with their glasses half empty, perhaps we should consider Bunkhouses as a way of getting away for an inexpensive holiday.

They are great places to stay, in beautiful locations, run by lovely people and provide the opportunity of meeting other people in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere.

Gone are the days of basic “subsistance living” in a bunkhouse, with little more than a “bothy”. Bunkhouses these days can be really lovely places, well equipped and comfortable.

Have a look at these 3 Bunkhouses we did the other week. You will see what I mean.

Hi Friends,

Yes we are still here, although it has been a while since our last post.
With more “mouths to feed” in the family of 360 Virtual Tours, it is keeping us busy.

Since our last post we have completed another school “Whitstable Church of England Aided Primary School” , Low Penhowe Bed and Breakfast and its two Holiday cottages, Hatfield House Bed and Breakfast in Llandudno as well as several holiday cottages for North Wales Holiday Cottages. In addition we have been busy adding more holiday cottages and Bed and Breakfasts to the new directory. The Virtual Cottage Company as well as frantically working on its search engine optimisation.

Never a dull moment in this business.

So sorry if you have missed us, but often at the end of the day, I simply forget to BLOG…

Off to Wales again this coming week, more Bunkhouses, cottages etc… no peace for the Virtual Tour Photographer……

Richard has just completed another Welsh Bunkhouse…..

Braich Goch Bunkhouse and Inn

located in Corris, near Cadair Idris in Southern Snowdonia.  A great location and surrounded by miles and miles of walks, cycle tracks, mountaineering routes etc etc.  An added bonus is that this is also an Inn, so a licenced Bar is available and they have evenings of live entertainment!

Bunkhouses are such a splendid idea, simple, clean, warm, able to cater to the larger group/family and best of all……..quite cheap! If the great outdoors appeals to you and you family/ friends/ group, why not try one – there are loads to chose from.  We think our 360 Virtual Tours give an excellent insight into what you can expect.
